Hammond Woods

CHPT is pleased to be the recipient of a beautiful 27.44 acre parcel of open space located off of Hammond Hill Road and abutting Route 20. It is a part of the Hammond Woods subdivision. The property is bounded by many beautiful stone walls and contains a man-made pond and an old walking trail. We are delighted that the developers, Dan Rourke and Richard Hayes of Hammond Woods Development Corporation, recognize the value of the stone walls and choose to preserve them as part of the open space. There is a natural trail and we hope to upgrade it for use by the public for passive, non-motorized, recreation.
